Roofs, and everything attached to one.
Three roofing systems, plus windows, siding, decks, and remodels, all installed by the same crew, to the same standard. Here's what we do and when each one is the right call.
The right roof for the pitch.
Flat, low-slope, or steep: the roof type should match the building, not the contractor's habits. We install all three major systems, so the recommendation you get is the right one, not just the one we sell.
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is the modern standard for flat and low-slope roofs. It's the white membrane you see on commercial buildings, and increasingly on residential additions, porches, and garages where shingles can't shed water fast enough.
The seams are heat-welded, not glued, which fuses the sheets into one continuous surface, with no seam tape to peel, no adhesive to fail in a freeze. The bright white surface reflects summer heat instead of soaking it in, which keeps the space below cooler and cuts cooling costs on conditioned buildings.
If you've got ponding water, patched-over leaks, or an old rolled roof that's past saving, TPO is usually the answer.
EPDM rubber has been keeping flat roofs dry for over half a century, and there's a reason it's still everywhere: it works. The synthetic rubber membrane stays flexible through Maine's brutal freeze-thaw cycles instead of cracking like older materials.
It goes down in large sheets with very few seams, installs cleanly over garages, additions, sunrooms, and porch roofs, and is one of the most cost-effective ways to solve a low-pitch roof for decades at a time. Repairs, when they're ever needed, are simple and cheap.
If you want the proven, no-drama option for a flat roof, this is it.
The classic Maine roof, done the way the manufacturer intends. We install architectural shingles, the thicker, dimensional kind that handle wind and look sharp, over a full protection system, not just nailed to bare boards.
Every re-roof starts with a complete tear-off so we can inspect the deck and fix rot before it's buried again. Then ice & water shield along the eaves and valleys where ice dams attack, synthetic underlayment across the field, new drip edge, and proper ridge ventilation so the attic breathes and the shingles last their full rated life.
It's the difference between a roof that hits year 30 and one that fails at 12. You saw the layers on our home page. That's what a roof done right looks like.

A tight roof with drafty windows and tired siding is half a job. We handle the whole exterior, which means one contractor, one schedule, and finishes that actually match.
If you can feel winter standing next to your windows, you're paying to heat the outdoors. We replace old drafty units with energy-efficient vinyl windows: double-pane, low-E glass that keeps heat in through January and out through July.
Insert-style replacement means we work within your existing frames where they're sound: no torn-up siding, no plaster damage, most homes done in a day or two. New windows tilt in for easy cleaning and never need painting or scraping again.
In a Maine winter, this is one of the fastest paybacks in home improvement. You feel it in the room and see it on the heating bill.
Vinyl siding is how you stop painting your house forever. Modern vinyl holds its color against coastal sun and salt air, shrugs off wind-driven rain, and cleans up with a garden hose instead of a paint crew every five years.
We strip the old cladding, wrap the house properly so moisture that gets behind the siding can drain and dry, and hang the vinyl straight and tight with room to move through temperature swings. That's the detail that separates siding that lasts from siding that buckles.
Pair it with new windows and the outside of your house is effectively maintenance-free for decades.
A Maine deck earns its keep about five months a year, and fights frost heave the other seven. We build decks that stay flat and solid: footings set below the frost line, proper ledger flashing so the deck never rots your house, and framing sized for snow load, not just summer barbecues.
Deck boards are your choice: pressure-treated for value, or composite if you never want to stain anything again. Railings and stairs built to code, because that's what keeps people safe and inspections painless.
The crew you trust on your roof can handle the rest of the project too. Additions, gut-and-redo rooms, and general remodeling, planned and built by the same contractor, so nothing falls in the gap between trades.
One point of contact, one schedule, one standard of work from framing to finish. If your project starts at the roof and works its way down, or starts inside and grows, we can carry it the whole way.
